Katsura Moshino was born in Japan in 1968.

Moshino creative activities date back to the late 1980s when his CD jacket illustrations for club DJs and musicians first attacted attention on the club scene, and he recently achieved near-idol status among Japanese teenagers when he made the transition from illustrating CD covers to adovartisements for fashion designers popular with young audience.

He stepped into the international limelight 1998s when he was selected from among 2,000 other artists around the globe for a promotion campaign sponsored by Nike North America and Nike Italy. CM artwork in 1999-2000,using the animeted character of Basketball campaign “Players Delight” sponsored by Nike,was developed in asia,including Japan,and North america.

At present, he is active painting performance and in making fliers and VJ of nightclubs, which are his home base, as wells as CD jackets, TVCM and SONY’s robotpet AIBO”LATTE and MACARON” product designs.
